The Ladies of Faded Elegance

Meet Kimberly and Mari, of Faded Elegance

Kimberly, at right, is the proprietor of Faded Elegance. Most days, you'll find Kimberly in the shop, welcoming you with a cheerful hello. On the days that Kim takes a well-deserved break, Mari will greet you with a smile in her voice and on her face as you enter. Both ladies will make you feel instantly at home, and are able to offer their assistance with your decorating decisions as you shop.

Under Kim's guidance, the store relocated from Hewitt Avenue in Everett (where it has been located since it was opened by Jenny McCollum in 2000) to First Street in Snohomish in July of 2008. Within just one week, all of the vendors and Kimberly had moved their merchandise into the new building, and the store opened for business on July 5th. Along with Kimberly, there are 12 vendors selling their wares at Faded Elegance, each space a unique gathering of beautiful objects and furnishings for your home. No ordinary antique store, you'll find that the display and presentation of unique merchandise here is inspiring and decidedly elegant. From furnishings to gifts, Faded Elegance offers a beautiful selection, presented thoughtfully.

Located in the 11oo block of historic First Street (along with Victoria Station Antiques, Cinnamon Stik, Queen Bee, SunSong, and more fabulous shops), Faded Elegance occupies the former 'Way Out West' building....yet no evidence of rusticity remains. The historic building's original tin ceiling glimmers in gold, the wood floors gleam, and there is a mezzanine level with magical treasures to reveal. Sparkling chandeliers sprinkled throughout make Faded Elegance a warm and charming place to wander, browse, and find just the right item for yourself or a loved one.

We look forward to your visit!

I've had the pleasure of visiting "Faded Elegance" twice in the last three weeks, and it is now one of my very favorite shops in the world! Love, love, love it...So well designed, and inspirational...I'm hoping to be at the Grand Opening with my daughter and niece, who also love the shop...Take care, Katie
